Credit Collections Analyst
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven Credit & Collections Analyst to support accounts receivable activities, manage high-volume customer accounts, and help maintain strong cash flow. You’ll collaborate closely with A/R, sales, and customer service teams to resolve issues, release orders, and ensure accurate, timely collections. This role also supports monthly reporting and provides backup coverage for the Credit Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Manage collections for high-volume customer accounts
- Review/release sales orders and resolve issues delaying payment
- Investigate customer disputes, including warranty-related matters
- Assess customer credit history and make credit decisions within policy
- Prepare monthly A/R reports for leadership
- Attend NACM meetings and complete required bi-weekly reporting
- Process customer refund requests and secure approvals
- Serve as backup to the Credit Manager
- Partner with A/R to resolve payment discrepancies
- Support other credit/collections activities as needed
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years in credit, collections, or an accounting environment
- Experience with automated A/R systems
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard Windows applications
Nice to Have
- Background in the aviation industry
- NACM involvement or prior credit decision-making experience
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
