POSITION TITLE: Hospitality Associate (Part-Time)
REPORTS TO: Programming Manager
WORK SCHEDULE: As needed per event schedule.
STATUS: Part-time - Hourly.
COMPENSATION: $25 per hour.
Position Summary: The Hospitality Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized backstage experience for all artists and visiting talent. This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in live event settings, enjoys the arts, and has a strong sense of service and hospitality. You’ll support our programming team by preparing green rooms, managing hospitality riders, and ensuring artists feel valued and cared for while at TACAW.
Responsibilities:
- Advance Artist Needs: Work with the Programming Coordinator and touring teams to fulfill hospitality rider requirements, including food, beverages, supplies, and amenities.
- Backstage Prep & Presentation: Set up dressing rooms and green rooms with care, attention to detail, and an eye toward comfort and cleanliness.
- Procurement & Coordination: Purchase and organize catering items locally; coordinate with vendors and restaurants as needed.
- Clean-Up & Reset: Maintain greenroom cleanliness.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work alongside TACAW staff and volunteers to maintain a positive and efficient environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality, live events, production, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with artists, staff, and volunteers
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the arts and alignment with TACAW’s community-driven mission
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
