Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic Art Teacher with strong expertise in painting and drawing to join our studio team. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, lead structured classes, and host walk-in / pop-up art workshops for customers of all ages—from children and teens to adults. Beyond teaching, you will collaborate directly with studio leadership on long-term educational growth, organize special art nights, and oversee studio material and equipment needs. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Develop, implement, and refresh art curricula and structured lesson plans tailored to children, teens, and adults.
- Instruction & Workshops: Lead engaging painting and drawing classes and facilitate spontaneous, walk-in pop-up art workshops for casual visitors.
- Special Events: Plan and execute community events, such as themed Art Nights and creative studio gatherings.
- Studio Collaboration: Work alongside studio leadership to strategize long-term educational goals, expand program offerings, and grow student engagement.
- Supply & Inventory Management: Build comprehensive supply lists, manage materials, and recommend new equipment or media to elevate studio offerings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field required.
- Teaching Experience: Proven track record of teaching art to diverse age groups (children, teens, and adults).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in painting and drawing techniques across various styles and media.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with studio leadership and connect warmth with customers.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
