Pay Rate/Range: $21/hr
Description: The Grease Maker Apprentice performs a variety of tasks requiring knowledge and understanding of batch manufacturing processes in support of the manufacturing team. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling large-scale kettles (200gal - 20,000gal) used to produce lubricating fluids and greases with oversight from a Grease Maker. The apprentice will gather raw materials, follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for blending, monitor equipment, and ensure product quality. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Steel toe shoes required
- Previous manufacturing, blending, and/or forklift experience preferred
- Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and engaging in movement throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to roll full 55-gallon drums of product.
- Working in a non-climate-controlled environment
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
