Job Summary:
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn the trade and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems and installations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Assist in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Gain knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
- Work with power tools and specialized equipment under supervision.
- Collaborate with journeyman/journeywoman electricians on various projects.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in electrical work.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and electrical schematics is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing a career as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
