What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Production Worker position at The Arnold Group?

Pay Rate/Range: $18-20/hr DOE
Description: The Production Associate will manufacture aviation and boat acrylic using the full production process according to specifications. Duties will include measuring and cutting acrylic from sheets, inspecting materials for contour and/or flaws, setting up tooling and equipment, sanding corners and rough edges of acrylic parts, placing or stacking parts in an industrial oven to cook according to the work order, and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Blueprint reading class required
- 2-3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with orbital sanding, auto body, wood sanding, material forming, and/or autoclave/ovens highly preferred
- Ability to lift/carry/push up to 50lb required
- Strong communication, attention to detail, timeliness, and attendance are a must
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm
