Assistant Store Manager in training – Army Barracks
Army Barracks is not your typical retail store—we’re a unique Army/Navy shop with a little bit of everything! From military surplus and tactical gear to camping and survival essentials, airsoft guns and accessories, and a huge selection of clothing, boots, knives, swords, and novelty items—you never know what you’ll find in our stores.
We’re passionate about creating a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back, and we’re proud of our convenient hours (10 AM – 6 PM, seven days a week).
Now, we’re looking for an ASM in training to lead our team and bring that same passion to every shift.
What You’ll Do
As our Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be assisting our store manager in driving, smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and a motivated sales team. You’ll lead by example, ensure the store runs efficiently, and make sure our customers leave excited to return.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Leading, motivating, and developing your team to hit sales goals.
- Maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards.
- Planning in-store promotions and building local partnerships.
- Ensuring the store is clean, safe, and compliant with company policies.

- Creative eye for displays and merchandising.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves—able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.
