Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Adult Day Program Coordinator to lead and manage our adult day program in Tarpon Springs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, develop engaging activities, and build strong relationships with participants, families, staff, and community partners. Your leadership will ensure a safe, supportive environment where individuals thrive and achieve their personal goals.
Duties
- Manage the overall operation of the adult day program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program activities that promote socialization, skill-building, and community integration
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team
- Build and maintain positive relationships with participants’ families and guardians to support individualized care plans
- Oversee program budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor behavioral health needs of participants and coordinate appropriate interventions or support services
- Ensure a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular facility inspections
Skills
- Proven management and leadership abilities in a social service or healthcare setting
- Experience in program development tailored to adults with developmental disabilities
- Strong relationship management skills with participants, families, staff, and community partners
- Excellent administrative skills including budgeting, documentation, and record keeping
- Supervisory experience with teams working in behavioral health or social work environments
- Knowledge of behavioral health strategies and best practices for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
