Responsibilities
- Manages all agency special events from start to finish, which will include, but are not limited to the Spring Wine Mixer, Cruisin' for a Cause, Turkey Trot, Holiday Gift Wrap Booth, and other fundraising events as needed.
- Creates new agency special events and fundraisers with input from the Director, Development and Foundation Events Committee.
- Attends and give updates on flag sheet items at quarterly Foundation Events Committee meetings.
- Work with vendors, venues and volunteers to manage all aspects of special events.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field - or equivalent combination of education and experience plus two (2) years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or community outreach, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Experience coordinating volunteers is a plus.
- Comfort with basic financial record-keeping and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event or donor management platforms (such as Square, Bloomerang, or similar) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for sponsorship solicitation, volunteer coordination, and community outreach.
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event calendar.
