Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position as an Occupational Therapist located in Weymouth, MA. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, and supporting individuals in achieving their independence and functional goals. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to ensure personalized care. Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, providing progress reports, and adhering to best practices in occupational therapy services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core Occupational Therapy principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and familiarity with medical practices related to therapy
- Experience working with children, particularly in providing pediatric therapy services
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current state licensure in Massachusetts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, family-centered environment
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or community-based setting is a plus
