Employment Support Specialist Job Duties
- Teach and role model job duties for the people on your case load.
- Collaborate on a client's, families, and team members to build individualized employment plans.
- Provide on-the-job support, skill-building, and creative solutions to help clients master responsibilities.
- Complete all daily case notes and other documentation in a timely manner.
- Create a task list for your client based on employer expectations.
- Flexibility with work schedule.
- Must also be able to work professionally and responsively with community employers.
- Must have excellent communication skills with an emphasis on listening and patience.
- Possess initiative, creativity, strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Keen organizational skills
- Demonstrate integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion and equity
- Be able to work independently as well as in teams.
- Experience with The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a very strong plus with this position
- Minimum age of 18
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must have valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Compensation:** $21.00 per hour. Non-exempt, Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday typically 8:00am-4:30pm, may include nights and weekends. Flexibility is a must, work hours are driven by client needs.
