JOB TITLE: Human Resources Administrator
JOB TYPE: Full Time / Non-Exempt
PAY: $25 / Hour
JOB LOCATION: Manville, New Jersey
DUTIES:
- Handle all Human Resources information in a confidential, professional, and compliant manner.
- Responsible for performing all tasks relating to recruitment, placing advertisements, preparing internal and external postings, phone screenings, reference checks, scheduling, and conducting Pre-Orientation.
- Process and monitor employment-related data and update as needed (fingerprinting, education documents, criminal history checks, MVR data).
- Prepare communication material for employees on issues relating to employment and special events.
- Responsible for all HRIS employee data system updates, data entry, and changes (i.e., fingerprinting, training, pay rates, Mantoux, and transfers, etc.) - ensuring paperless personnel files are maintained, and items are scanned and electronically filed
- Conduct quarterly Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks and coordinate random drug testing in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
- Upload, track, and maintain all related reports and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Act as a resource to Agency staff on various issues relating to employment.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with agency policies and all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit the Annual Diversity Report (EEO-1) in accordance with federal reporting guidelines.
- Review and verify invoices by reconciling them with employee enrollment records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
EDUCATION: Undergraduate (B.S. or B.A.) required. (Associate’s degree with a minimum of three years of related experience may be substituted.)
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Two to four years of direct experience in Personnel Administration required. One to three years of office/clerical experience required; well-developed computer operations experience also required.
