Direct Support Associate
Position Status: Full Time or Part Time
Location: Union County, NC
Education Requirements: Candidate must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience Requirements: Candidate must be a motivated team player, flexible, creative, dependable and reliable. Candidate must have related experience in providing direct supports but not preferred. Qualified applicants must be 18 years or older, have a current driver’s license, reliable transportation and are able to pass background check.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our dynamic team/Choices Department. This is your opportunity to provide essential support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), helping them live fulfilling and independent lives in their own communities.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals (Adults & or Children) with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, transportation).
- Support community integration and participation in social activities.
- Help develop and maintain life skills.
- Build strong, positive relationships with the individuals you support.
- Document daily progress and notes.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a genuine passion for helping others.
- Is patient, empathetic, compassionate, consistent, and dependable.
- Has a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Has a High School Diploma (Additional Education/Transcripts can be submitted)
- Can pass a Background Check and Healthcare Registry Check
