What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director of Residential Services position at The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties?
The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Carlisle, PA is seeking to hire a full-time Associate Director of Residential Services to provide direction and professional leadership to the residential (I/DD) group homes to which they are assigned.
Specific duties of this professional leadership role include:
- Responsibility for oversight of operations of assigned residential programs.
- Provides orientation training and on-going support and mentorship to members of the team.
- Supports growth and development through evaluation and the development of professional goals of Program Specialists.
- Supports the Director of Residential Services in the development and implementation of departmental goals and policies.
- Ensures that all DHS and other applicable Residential Regulations are adhered to in assigned programs and performs annual self-licensing inspections to ensure compliance.
- Reviews assessments to evaluate individuals referred by the AE for Residential programs, and coordinates plans for admission with the Director and Program Specialists.
- Reconciles/reviews individuals' financial transactions (BCAs) on a bi-monthly basis and assures that the Accessible Cash Account policies and procedures are followed in assigned programs.
- Assists in the development of annual budgets for assigned programs, and monitors expenses on a monthly basis.
- Collaborates with the team on clinical decisions in assigned programs by evaluating Treatment Team decisions, monitoring the quality of Individual Plans, Outcomes, and Treatment Plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5-7 years of experience with I/DD that includes supervisory and administrative roles. Excellent communication skills, creative problem solving and an understanding of servant leadership also desired. Computer literacy required.

The Associate Director of Residential Services earns a competitive salary of $62,351.00 per year.
