FT Direct Support Professional, In-Home and Community

Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Home & Community Supports (HCS)

Pay: $18/hour Shift Differentials $1,000 Sign-on Bonus

Location: State College & Bellefonte, PA

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required (ability to transport individuals)
• Ability to obtain required TB test and physical (per ODP regulations)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, overnights, holidays)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with physical supports (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred (not required):

• Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare

What You'll Do

As a DSP in our HCS program, you will:

• Support individuals in their homes and community settings

• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, routines)

• Build trusting, respectful relationship

Transportation & Driving Expectations

This role may include transporting individuals in the community. DSPs in our HCS program:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Receive mileage reimbursement for work-related travel
• Use their personal vehicle to transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings

Schedule & Pay

• Starting pay: $18/hour
• Additional $1/hour shift differentials available
• Up to $1,000 sign-on/stay-on bonus
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
