As a DSP, you'll provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives-helping them achieve their goals and participate in their communities.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, personal care, medication reminders, and transportation
- Encourage and support social, recreational, and community engagement
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in everyday life
- Follow person-centered support plans and documentation requirements
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Compassionate and reliable individuals who enjoy helping others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable)
- Ability to pass a background check and any required training
- Experience in human services or healthcare a plus, but not required-we will train the right candidate!
