We are seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our beautiful and fully equipped Day Program in South Dennis. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily activities, providing emotional support, and helping them achieve their goals for independence and quality of life.

Duties:

• Provide person-centered supports that respect the rights and choices of each individual
• Assist with activities at the day program, and on community outings
• Assist with daily personal care and hygiene needs
• Support individuals with day program activities
• Administer medications as per physician's orders
• Assist with mobility and lifting when necessary

Skills:
The ideal candidates for this position should possess:

• Experience in medication administration
• Ability to work with people with autism and developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of home and community care practices
• Background in social work or related fields
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and drive as needed
• Proficiency in meal preparation

Joining our team as a DSP offers:

• Competitive pay starting at $21.00 per hour after completion of a week of orientation and training at $16.07 per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 4pm each day

Here's a brief summary of the benefits offered: Health, dental, and vision benefits are available on the first day of the month after 60 days of full-time employment. Employer paid group term life insurance is available to you after five months of full-time employment. You can enroll in the Principal Retirement Plan immediately, and be eligible for up to 3% matching contributions after a year of employment. We offer personal time-off, vacation time, and sick time.
