What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Drivers - new opportunities around Kingston -- and NEW PAY RATES! position at The Arc Mid-Hudson?
Van Drivers in our Transportation Department in Lake Katrine/Kingston work split shifts (mornings and afternoons), Monday through Friday, transporting individuals with disabilities. Drivers must exhibit a high degree of competence and responsibility for the safety of passengers being transported.
A high school diploma or GED is desired. A valid New York State Class B or C driver's license with/without Passenger Endorsement, or Class D and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.
And we offer paid CDL training! New hires will be expected to successfully obtain CDL license with Passenger Endorsement within 90 days of first day of employment.
HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/variable split shifts, according to route schedule
STARTING SALARY:
$ 20.87 to $ 22.96 for Driver without CDL/Passenger endorsement
$ 22.87 to $ 25.16 for Driver with CDL/Passenger endorsement
