The Arc Mid-Hudson, one of the largest employers in the Hudson Valley, including Ulster, Greene and Putnam counties, is seeking a Part Time Van Driver to join our Transportation Department in Carmel.
Van Drivers in our Transportation Department based in Carmel work split shifts (mornings and afternoons), Monday through Friday, transporting individuals with disabilities. Drivers must exhibit a high degree of competence and responsibility for the safety of passengers being transported.
A high school diploma or GED is desired. A valid New York State Class B or C driver's license with/without Passenger Endorsement, or Class D and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.
We offer paid CDL training! New hires will be expected to successfully obtain CDL License with Passenger Endorsement within 90 days of first day of employment.!
HOURS: 25 hours weekly - Monday thru Friday 7a-9:30a & 2p-4:30p
STARTING SALARY:
$ 22.38 to $ 24.62 for Driver without CDL/Passenger endorsement
$ 24.38 to $ 26.82 for Driver with CDL/Passenger endorsement
