Description
SUMMARY: Perform accounting duties for a wide variety of agency assignments, including reconciliations and financial reporting for the Agency and its affiliates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Processing of SNAP funding and related general ledger entries.
- Preparation and submission of Rep Payee reports.
- Invoicing, collections and issue resolution for congregate care and Integrated Business divisions.
- Review, analysis, and recording of petty cash card activity.
- Timely preparation and release assigned monthly journal entries with appropriate documentation.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with 3-5 years experience. Proficient in MS Office with intermediate Excel and data analysis skills. Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal skills required as well as a high level of attention to detail combined with analytical problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside of the agency. Strong understanding of general business principles. Exposure to multi-company environment. Experience with OMH, Medicaid, state funding streams and various billing and accounting software programs including CFR preparation preferred. Experience with NetSuite beneficial.
