SUMMARY: Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Trainer and mentor for newly hired/promoted Residence Managers/Assistant Residence Managers/Relief Staff.
- Supervises the orientation/training program for any assigned residences and relief staff.
- Relief staff management and scheduling.
- Utilizes training protocols and oversight to provide ongoing staff training/education/review within the Residential department.
- Provides agency training as assigned.
- Schedules in-service training for all relief and assigned staff and assures attendance.
- Must be flexible to working in multiple residential sites, regular travel is required.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED and minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; Bachelor's degree and previous supervisory experience preferred; or a combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program. Valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history.
