Role Details:
- Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Status: Full-time 35-hours a week
- Location: Ballston Spa
What You'll Do:
As a DSP you will empower the people that we support to thrive, build independence, and engage with their community. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Implementing Service Plans: Supporting those we work with towards accomplishing their daily goals and documenting progress
- Community Involvement: Guiding and assisting those we support in typical community settings
- Skill Building: Help with developing personal hygiene, safety and daily living routines
- Mobility and Personal Care: Assisting with transfers (including wheelchairs), personal hygiene, and boarding agency vehicles
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience in human services preferred (we provide PAID TRAINING)
- Driver's License: A valid NYS driver's license that is acceptable to agency standards
