The Aptus Group is seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist to join our internal team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on across recruiting, employee support, compliance, and HR operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. You will support the full employee lifecycle, partner closely with leadership and operations, and play a key role in improving HR processes and systems as our organization continues to grow.
Pay Rate: $26 - $30 per hour
Location: Paramount, CA
Schedule: Full Time 8 am- 4:30 pm

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with recruitment and interviews
- Working knowledge of HR compliance and confidentiality
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills
- Comfortable using HR systems and Google
- Workspace experience in staffing, education is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and support full-cycle recruitment
- Support performance management and employee relations processes
- Assist with HR compliance, documentation, and personnel files
- Coordinate and attend career fairs, hiring events, and recruitment outreach
- Support recruitment marketing and internal HR-related events
- Conduct and track Live Scan background checks
- Assist with updates to the HR Handbook and HR SOPs
