OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various household appliances. This is a full time position. PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities:
-Perform diagnostic tests on appliances to identify issues and determine the appropriate repair method.
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.
-Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering any questions they may have.
-Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical components.
EXPERIENCE;
-Previous experience as an Appliance Service Technician or equivalent experience.
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of appliance assembly and disassembly
-Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting
-Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus
-Ability to read and interpret schematics
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN, CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, AND DRIVER'S LICENSE CHECK.
ABILITY TO READ, WRITE, AND SPEAK ENGLISH (BI-LINGUAL IS ALWAYS A PLUS). MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT OR MANEUVER 50 POUNDS.
