The Apothecary Shoppe in Montrose, CO is looking for one lead technician/supervisor to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 1414 Hawk Pkwy H2. Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for supporting the practice of pharmacy, performing delegated tasks, and performing drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical activities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and the owners.
• Identifies cost savings opportunities throughout the Department and is accountable for managing initiatives toward achieving and sustaining savings
• Supports other pharmacy technicians by filling in and assisting with daily duties always making sure the days priorities are being met and fulfilled.
• Collaborates with pharmacy leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels within their specialized area and covers for call-outs when needed.
• Assisting with compliance of USP 800
• Entering Orders
• Working in the daily flow while managing systems to make sure patients are taken care of as promised within the standards of the company.
• Ensuring compliance with Colorado State Board of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician for minimum of 3 years.
• Compounding experience as well as hospital experience.
