Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for supporting the practice of pharmacy, performing delegated tasks, and performing drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical activities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and the owners.
- Identifies cost savings opportunities throughout the Department and is accountable for managing initiatives toward achieving and sustaining savings
- Supports other pharmacy technicians by filling in and assisting with daily duties always making sure the days priorities are being met and fulfilled.
- Collaborates with pharmacy leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels within their specialized area and covers for call-outs when needed.
- Assisting with compliance of USP 800
- Entering Orders
- Working in the daily flow while managing systems to make sure patients are taken care of as promised within the standards of the company.
- Ensuring compliance with Colorado State Board of Pharmacy
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician for minimum of 3 years.
- Compounding experience as well as hospital experience.
