The Anne Brower School is looking to hire an Assistant Teachers 9:30 am to 2:45 pm for the 2025-2026 School Year.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare for lessons by assembling materials and equipment
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
- Assist in reviewing learning material with students, either individually or in small groups, to help reinforce lessons presented by lead teachers
- Provide personal aid and care as necessary to students, such as help with hygiene, eating or toileting, etc.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Skills
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Friendly, punctual and reliable
- Certification in child CPR (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
