Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategies, including campus recruitment efforts and social media campaigns to attract diverse talent.
- Coordinate orientations of new volunteers
- Manage volunteer schedules and assignments to maintain a motivated and effective team.
- Oversee social media management to highlight volunteer stories, share updates, and boost organizational visibility.
- Collaborate with management to design leadership development programs that nurture volunteer growth and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management and animal welfare with a strong background in supervising teams.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences.
- Experience in campus recruitment, social media management, and training & development initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with a passion for animal welfare.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop volunteers while fostering a positive team environment.
- Able to work in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
