Kennel Assistant ** Part Time- Every other weekend**
Our kennel team is responsible for the daily care of all pets in the hospital and basic housekeeping duties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Walking dogs
Bathing/nail trims/nail grinds
Cleaning dog and cat cages/runs, bowls, and bedding
Feeding all animals
Cleaning and maintenance of our boarding facility and hospital
Animal handling and restraint of both dogs and cats of all sizes and types.
Experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
Every other weekend required. Times may vary slightly due to the number of pets in the hospital. Typical schedule is
Saturday 7am-10am and 3pm-6pm
Sunday 7am-10am and 3pm-6pm
Occasional weekday fill-ins may be available but are not required.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
