- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and work areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injuries
- Manage food handling tasks in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are maintained
- Assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision, contributing to meal preparation during busy service times
- Support banquet or event setups by organizing supplies and assisting with food service logistics
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure seamless service delivery in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant workflows enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
