Our Front Counter Servers are the primary point of contact for guests. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. Responsibilities:
- Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts
- Provides excellent customer service, greets customers upon arrival, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing and proper product rotation
- Proactively familiarizes oneself on all products offered
- Stocks and cleans shelves and display areas; ensures accuracy of item signs and pricing
- Maximizes sales potential through effective product display, customer interactions and suggestive selling techniques
- Performs opening and closing duties as assigned
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Operates quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, time-driven environment, while ensuring high quality customer service
- Ability to meet customer service expectations/standards in all interactions with customers and co-workers
- Ability to attend to customers and sell items proactively
- Ability/willingness to learn basic knowledge of all bakery products
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic; willing to lend a hand wherever/whenever needed
- Punctual and reliable
Experience: Entry Level - no prior experience required / strong willingness to learn
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the job
- Standing/walking 7-8 hours (in an 8-hour work day)
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Required Availability:
- Tuesday - Saturday (closed Sundays and Mondays)
