Job Overview:
As an Intake, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments, assisting with project coordination, maintaining office efficiency, and handling general office tasks.
Duties:
- Checking patient eligibilities and scheduling admissions/discharges
- Assist in office operations by handling calls, emails, organizing files, completing paperwork, scheduling patient visits and transportation, ordering supplies, medical equipment, amazon orders etc.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, inputting patients, checking patient eligibilities, calling insurances, requesting authorizations, scanning documents into the EMR, making admission & discharge binders etc.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Typing accuracy required for medical/billing purposes.
