What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at The Alpha Group?
Currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a fulltime temporary to permanent position in Carver, MA
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
-repair various equipment, machines, and facility systems
-prepare and paint surfaces both in and outside the building
-complete general custodial work including moving furniture, replacing light bulbs, etc
-Follow maintenance manuals to inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment
-maintain landscape and outside property of facility
-Ensure minimum downtime by maintaining replacement part inventory
Look for improvements that could be made to improve efficiency and costs
Maintain all documentation and logs
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Maintenance Technician:
-4 years maintenance experience in a industrial environment
-Experience with TIG and ARC welding
-Able to use both hand and powered tools
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Able to work flexible hours and be on call in emergencies
-Comfortable walking, bending, kneeling, limbing, and lifting throughout shift
-Must have a valid drivers license
Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am 2 days on 2 days off rotating schedule
Pay Rate: $32.00/hr
