What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tea Barista position at The Alley UTC?
Our goal is to create a tasty tea and beverages. We believe that a good drink should not be a cup of taste only, but a cup of happiness.
Starting: $17-20 TIPS
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, Boba drinks, coffee, and tea.
- Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Prepare food items, according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
