The primary purpose of this position is Performs duties as an Engineering Technician for Repair Enhancement Program (DREP) Exchangeable Production Support Center (ESPC). Performs complex and comprehensive studies in the repair, overhaul, manufacture and modification of components for a commodities production branch in worldwide support of major weapon systems. Studies typically integrate several phases, each of which is an assignment in itself and/or required deviation from standard methods. techniques and policies while significantly impacting workload, operations and/or costs. Production of these components must be accomplished in accordance with cost. schedule and technical requirement and is critical to the successful accomplishments of the Air Force mission. Responsible for production engineering services, including the development of workload planning packages, establishing labor standards, equipment, facility standards and develops and maintains Bill of Materials (BOM) and Work Control Documents (WCO's). Independently performs difficult studies involving a limited area of specialization in several work centers; and/or performs a major portion of a larger or more complex project. Provides guidance and assignments to lower graded planners, as required.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.
- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.
- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of production material requirements, work sequences, machinery and manpower requirements for industrial operations.
2. Extensive knowledge of a variety of engineering technician processes and techniques to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards, MTM, layout designs and cost analysis.
3. Knowledge of mechanics, construction, maintenance and repair facility work processes and methods.
4. Knowledge or safety and occupational health requirements as outlined in applicable standards, regulations or technical orders.
5. Skill and ability to interpret and apply the requirements for PONs, FCRN's and the processing of the JON closeout.
