In this senior engineering role, you will lead the planning, programming, and technical execution of complex new construction, renovations, and real property utility system projects to guarantee the operational readiness and agility of our software mission environments.

- Build the Future of Defense Tech: Engineer and modernize the physical spaces where cutting-edge military software is created, directly supporting the Air Force's digital superiority.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complex Facility Engineering: Lead the technical planning, programming, and structural design for complex new construction, major renovations, and modernization of real property facilities.
- Utility System Management: Oversee the development and integration of robust facility utility systems to ensure high-availability power, cooling, and network physical paths.
- End-to-End Project Execution: Manage difficult engineering projects from initial requirement scoping and technical spec drafting through construction oversight and final delivery.
- Strategic Mission Alignment: Collaborate with Directorate leadership to align physical workspace and infrastructure capabilities with evolving software engineering requirements.

-A seasoned civil or electrical engineer (or facilities specialist) with a proven track record of managing large-scale facility construction and real property utility projects.
- A rigorous technical problem-solver skilled at navigating complex building codes, infrastructure dependencies, and challenging structural designs.

- U.S. Citizenship
- May occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station

3. Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Knowledge of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures, and principles and surveying methods, equipment, and techniques of measurements to identify project requirements.
5. Ability to plan and record site/facility surveys and inspections.
6. Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures in a variety of situations and recommend timely and economical solutions.
