The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of full-cycle accounting experience, mandatory QuickBooks proficiency, strong Excel skills, and a proven history of long-term tenure and commitment to their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CFO and senior management with special projects and other accounting-related initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA license strongly preferred, but not required for candidates with proven, tenured full-charge accounting experience
  • 10 years of comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping experience with demonstrated ownership of the full accounting cycle
  • Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks; QuickBooks certification preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Extensive experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proven experience with month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Strong research, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Proven long-term employment history and commitment to building a long-term career
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
