Position Title: Business Development Manager
Location:📍 Sioux Falls, SD (hybrid flexibility in MN or SD)
Salary range:💰 $85K–$100K
What You'll Be Doing
- Grow the customer base into new states and markets
- Support long-term client retention across existing school district accounts
- Manage the full sales cycle including RFP responses and contract onboarding
- Meet regularly with clients and prospects to understand needs and gather feedback
- Build trusted relationships with senior district stakeholders
- Maintain accurate pipeline management through CRM systems
- Provide product feedback based on customer needs and competitive landscape
What They're Looking For
- Proven success in business development, preferably in K-12 or edtech
- Experience building relationships with district leaders and guiding purchasing decisions
- Comfortable with frequent multi-state travel
- CRM experience to manage pipelines and drive growth
- RFP experience is a plus
- Background in education or familiarity with rural public schools is a strong advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Must be a current resident of Minnesota or South Dakota
- Special education experience is a plus
