What You’ll Do
As a LEGO-Based STEM Teacher, you’ll have the chance to lead exciting educational experiences that inspire curiosity and teamwork. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading hands-on STEM, engineering, robotics, and LEGO-based learning activities.
- Facilitating coding and creative building projects that captivate young learners.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels welcome.
- Managing student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
- Inspiring children to think critically, solve problems, and work collaboratively.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about education and comfortable leading groups of children. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in educational, camp, afterschool, or enrichment settings.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead independently.
- A reliable, professional, and punctual work ethic.
- A background in education, STEM, engineering, robotics, camp counseling, or related fields (a plus, but not required).
- No prior LEGO or robotics experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive training on all curriculum and lesson plans!
Position Highlights
- Starting Rate: $60 per hour.
- Flexible Scheduling: Choose 1–4 hour shifts based on your availability and preferred locations.
- Locations: Opportunities available throughout Queens and Manhattan.
- Immediate Opportunities: Summer positions available now, with the potential for continued work during the school year.
