Business analysts define and document business requirements. They work closely with business leads, subject matter experts (SMEs), and domain experts, drawing upon the expertise as necessary.
Required Skills
- Five or more years of business analysis experience in large enterprise integration projects serving as a critical link between end users and the implementation team. Therefore, it is important to find resources with the following skill set and experience:
- Knowledge of the workers’ compensation domain
- Experience defining business requirements and integration for a software project (e.g. process maps, use cases, etc.)
- Ability to solve complex problems analytically
- Ability to do research and work with subject matter experts where necessary
- Strong communication skills, including frequent updates to team and stakeholders
- Experience in the Filevine products implemented and/or SAIF legacy systems within scope of the project
- Ability to map and understand data exchanged / transformed between systems
- Document data transformations and data cleansing business rules (e.g. business rules if data in a field is 50 characters and must be transformed to 40 characters)
- Ability to raise / discuss risks or issues to the project
