Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Educational Technology located in Las Vegas, NV. The Director of Educational Technology will be responsible for leading the integration of technology into teaching and learning practices, providing guidance on instructional design, and supporting faculty in the effective use of educational technologies. The role involves developing and implementing technology plans, training staff and educators, and ensuring the technology tools align with the school's educational mission. The Director will collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators, fostering cooperation to deliver a technology-enhanced learning environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Technology Integration and Educational Technology to enhance and support teaching and learning
- Experience with Instructional Design and innovative educational practices
- Strong background in education and the ability to effectively lead professional development for faculty and staff
- Excellent collaboration and cooperation skills to work with various stakeholders across the school
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a culture of technological innovation
- Proficiency in managing and implementing school-wide technology initiatives
- Advanced degree in Educational Technology, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in a school setting, preferably within K-12 education, strongly preferred
