What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Estimator (Nashville) position at The Adecco Group?
Our client, a nationally recognized construction consulting firm, is seeking a full-time Commercial Estimator to support complex commercial construction projects in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
- Analyze drawings/specifications for scope and cost impacts
- Support conceptual estimating, value engineering, and project delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high-profile infrastructure projects
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5 years of architectural and/or structural estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, foundations, and structural systems
- Experience with cost estimating tools such as OST, Timberline, MII, Success, or similar
- Industry certifications such as CCP, CPE, RICS, CEP, PMP, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Aviation project experience is a plus, but not required
