What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at The Ace Consulting Group?
We are hiring a Mechanical Assembler for one of our valued manufacturing partners in New Berlin, WI.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:
- Perform mechanical assembly and builds according to work orders, operation sheets, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Assemble components accurately and efficiently to meet production schedules
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wire lists, and shop travelers
- Pull materials, track assembly progress, and move completed products to finished goods
- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment
- Assist with rework or repair tasks as needed
Experience Needed for the Mechanical Assembly role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow documented procedures and instructions
- Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions
- Ability to read simple mechanical drawings (electrical schematics a plus)
Schedule & Pay for the Mechanical Assembly role:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
- Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
