Monday-Friday 5:45-8:45am & 1:00-5:30pm September - June (Option to work in July & August but not required)

Duties
- Supervise children during before-school and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging youth activities, including games, arts and crafts, educational projects, and outdoor recreation
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols and being prepared to respond to medical emergencies with CPR or AED operation if necessary
- Support children with special education needs by implementing inclusive strategies and accommodations
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily schedules, communicate program updates, and ensure smooth operation of all activities
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and respect among children
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation required; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Experience with special education or childhood development is a plus
- Ability to engage children through teaching, tutoring, or youth group activity facilitation
- Outdoor work experience preferred for supervising outdoor activities safely
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for youth development, early childhood education, or related fields such as sports coaching or babysitting
