Now Hiring: Kennel Technician & Dog Training Intern
The Academy of Canine Excellence is an award-winning dog training and boarding facility in Albuquerque, and we're looking for an exceptional person to join our team.
This is more than a kennel job. While animal care is the foundation of this position, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on internship learning professional dog training from certified trainers.
Our team works with:
- Family pets
- Service dogs
- Therapy dogs
- Behavior modification cases
- Advanced obedience and specialty training

Position Details
- Part-time (20–30 hours per week)
- Morning, Afternoon & evening shifts available
- Opportunity for advancement into dog training and other leadership roles
Daily Responsibilities
- Caring for the health and well-being of our dogs
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and training areas
- Feeding, watering, and exercising dogs
- Laundry and facility maintenance
- Assisting our trainers with daily operations
- Learning professional handling techniques and dog behavior
