Working alongside lead teachers, you will assist with instruction, classroom management, and student engagement while helping maintain a structured and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support campus-wide activities such as lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal to ensure student safety
- Support lead teachers in delivering instruction by assisting with lesson activities, classroom management, and transitions
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning, reteach concepts, and support academic growth
- Assist in maintaining classroom structure, routines, and positive student behavior
- Substitute for lead teachers when necessary to ensure continuity of instruction
- Prepare instructional materials, organize classroom resources, and assist with basic data tracking
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student academic and behavioral success
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Model professionalism, patience, and high expectations in all interactions with students, staff, and families
Qualifications & Competencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of the paraprofessional exam, OR Associate’s degree (or higher)
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or youth setting preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Passion for working with students in diverse, underserved communities
