Academies of Math and Science is hosting an in-person Teacher Hiring Event at our Glendale campus and we are seeking passionate, mission-driven educators to join our team for the upcoming school year.
Qualified candidates who apply to this requisition may be invited to attend our May 6 Hiring Event, where they will have the opportunity to participate in on-the-spot interviews with school leadership.
We are actively hiring for several teaching positions and are looking for educators who are committed to academic excellence, high expectations, and student success.
Current Teaching Vacancies
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
- Kindergarten Teachers
- ELD (English Language Development) Teachers
- Middle School Humanities Teachers
- Middle School Math Teachers
- Fine Arts Teacher
- Music Teacher
- Technology Teacher
Candidates with experience teaching in high-performing charter schools, Title I environments, or diverse student populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
Hiring Event Details

Candidates who attend the hiring event will have the opportunity to:
- Meet directly with the Principal and Assistant Principals
- Participate in a 30-minute interview
- Learn more about the Academies of Math and Science mission and instructional model
- Potentially move forward quickly in the hiring process
Walk-ins are welcome; however, early registration through this application is strongly encouraged to help us plan interview schedules and ensure timely interviews for all candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification
- Demonstrated commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a Title I or charter school environment
- Experience supporting English Language Learners
- Strong data-driven instruction and student engagement practices
