BASIC FUNCTION:
The Assistant Hospitality Campus Coordinator supports the daily operations of the housing program and campus life initiatives. This role assists with administrative tasks, resident engagement, resident shuttle trips, and coordination of housing activities. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and eager to support both residents and team members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in customer service in an office environment preferred, and working in a hospitality environment a plus!
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, detail oriented and self-starter a must!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook, standard office equipment and social media savvy.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills with strong adherence to deadlines.
- Professional presence; exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Welcome residents and employees, providing friendly and timely customer service.
- Assist with housing operations including room assignments, key distribution, and record keeping.
- Support move-in and move-out processes, including documentation and basic room checks.
- Help communicate housing policies and expectations to residents.
- Assist in coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to address housing needs.
- Support inspections and report any issues or concerns to the Campus Coordinator and Director of Rooms.
- Help facilitate resident engagement activities and campus events.
- Create and distribute communications such as flyers and announcements (e.g., Canva).
- Assist with organizing on- and off-campus activities for residents.
- Support transportation coordination (shuttles) as directed.
- Maintain accurate records, including housing assignments and payment tracking support.
- Respond to resident inquiries and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful campus environment.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Rooms or Resort/General Manager.
ENVIRONMENT:
Works in all areas of the property, both indoors and outdoors possible in inclement weather. Variety of surfaces.
