Position Purpose:
The Marketing and Brand Director leads the development and execution of strategies that strengthen brand presence and drive business growth. This role oversees all aspects of marketing, including advertising, digital campaigns, events, and brand management, ensuring alignment with company objectives. The Director provides strategic direction, manages budgets, and fosters partnerships while guiding a high-performing team to deliver innovative, impactful marketing initiatives.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Translate business goals into marketing strategies and objectives that facilitate overall business growth including creating and implementing innovative and effective sales and marketing programs to drive traffic and increase sales
- Manage the annual marketing calendar to include community events, restaurant promotions/specials, grassroots marketing and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop and execute marketing plans, budgets and event recaps for all events and promotions and ensure they are aligned with the company's sales, profits, branding, and media objectives
- Participates in the planning, coordination, and execution of all events
- Manage all paid advertising from budgeting, negotiation ad placement, reserving ad space, coordinating ad design, developing radio copy, receiving and processing invoices
- Oversee and manage the development and production of branded print collateral, non-printed collateral (websites, e-blasts, etc.), menus, signage, social media, etc. and ensure brand standards are adhered to
- Handle and fulfills all brand related filming and photo needs
- Oversee all aspects of digital advertising including Google Search and Display and paid social media
- Develop and execute strategic traditional grassroots marketing
- Coordinate and fulfill marketing trade deals with media partners
- Mentor, motivate, manage and develop the marketing team
- Execute trade agreements and marketing partnerships
- Assure overall brand consistency on all digital sites and as well physical stores
- Formulate and execute marketing and P.R. initiatives
- Strategize and execute catering marketing to drive catering sales
- Responsible for customer support when needed
In addition, you may be asked to work with members of the Company's management team on select projects and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications, Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role directing a marketing function or team.
- Must have QSR, fast-casual, hospitality, franchise, or multi-unit retail experience (required, not preferred).
- Proven track record in brand building, digital strategy, and local store marketing for a high-growth consumer brand.
- Demonstrated success in increasing customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty—ideally using platforms such as Paytronix, Olo, Toast, or similar.
- Strong experience leading social media strategy, content planning, community engagement, and paid media.
- Capable of driving creative direction, maintaining brand consistency, and working with designers, agencies, and photographers/videographers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and turn insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience managing budget planning, campaign ROI, and performance metrics across multiple channels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, family-owned environment where priorities move quickly.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills; able to collaborate with Operations, Finance, HR, and vendors.
- Experience supporting new store openings, local market launches, and/or franchise locations is a major plus.
- Ability to lead a small but powerful marketing team—coaching, developing, and leveling them up.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience in restaurant or franchise marketing may substitute.
Master’s degree or MBA is a plus, but not required.
Equivalent experience in QSR/restaurant marketing may be considered in place of a formal degree for the right candidate.
Working Conditions:
This is primarily an office environment. Position requires sitting, typing, and looking at a computer screen for multiple consecutive hours.
Physical Activity:
Must have the ability to sit and type for long periods of time. Bending and lifting (up to 20 lbs) are also required.
