Thaxton Holistic Wellness Center & Counseling Solutions is an established and steadily expanding private practice with 8 locations (Scranton-2 locations, Archbald, Moscow, Hawley, Clarks Summit, Dunmore, and Forty Fort) offering individual, group, family, couple counseling. We are looking to hire multiple clinicians for several of our offices, especially in Archbald.
Thaxton Holistic Wellness Center also offers holistic wellness services to the community including nutritional counseling, massage, yoga, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, reiki, meditation, wellness workshops, etc.
We have multiple openings for an experienced and qualified therapist (LPC or LCSW) in our locations. Our practice is evidence-based, person-centered, and works from the mind-body wellness model which focuses on treating the whole person.

Position is contracted (1099) or W2, full and/or part time, offers a flexible schedule, a friendly, community atmosphere, training opportunities, and group consultation.
Compensation rates are determined by insurance reimbursement and are ABOVE the industry standard of 50/50 split.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address various behavioral health issues
- Provide therapy and case management services to clients
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing their mental health
- Complete medical documentation and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA
- Experience in providing counseling and therapy services to individuals of all ages
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Strong case management skills to coordinate care for clients
- Familiarity with aging issues and counseling techniques for older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
